Division of the State Architect (DSA): DSA provides design and construction oversight for k-12 schools and community colleges throughout the State of California. Persinger Architects and Associates familiarity with the DSA process make our school projects run smoothly. In addition, grants and bonds are often available through DSA. Persinger Architects and Associates actively searches for funds available for all of our clients. Our extensive knowledge in grants and bonds have allowed for numerous project to take place.

Office of Public School Construction (OPSC): The OPSC strives to improve the condition of public schools in California. A state run program the OPSC implements and administers a thirty-five billion dollar voter-approved school facilities construction program. Persinger Architects has an extensive experience with OPSC and always helps our clients receive the most funding available.

California Department of Education (CDE): The California Department of Education reviews new construction projects. They serve our state by innovating and collaborating with educators, schools, parents, and community partners to create the best learning environments. In addition funding and financing is available through CDE.

United States Green Building Council (USGBC): The USGBC is the national leader in green building. Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) is part of their commitment to a prosperous and sustainable future for our nation, and recognizes buildings such as the Salmon Creek Falls Environmental Center for their outstanding performance in sustainable design. A vast amount of information is available on their website.

Living Building Challenge: The living building challenge is the most intensive green building rating system. To date only three projects have been certified as “living.” There is an abundance of information available on their website. Persinger Architects is committed to the goals of the Living Building Challenge, always making our buildings as sustainable as possible.

American Institute of Architects (AIA): The AIA is the national professional associates of architects. The local chapter the Redwood Empire AIA strives to advance design through education and public awareness.
